7 Beauty Insiders Share Their Favorite Summer Destinations

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but we're already almost halfway through July. That means if you don't have a vacation scheduled, it's really now or never to get it booked. But the world is big, and there are so many amazing places to go that choosing one can be overwhelming. That's why we reached out to some of the top hairstylists, makeup artists, and supermodels in the business for their suggestions on the best spas, resorts, and relaxing locales around the globe because, well, traveling to beautiful places is just part of their job description.

The Now massage boutique in Los Angeles

"The Now spa offers a Tulum-inspired massage in the middle of Los Angeles. It's perfect for when you need a quick tune-up. The decor is so chic, and every corner is perfect for a snap."

Zen Facial in Sydney, Australia

"A lymphatic-drainage facial massage helps a lot with any puffiness and dark circles from too much time working or being on planes and in air conditioning. Fumi Yamamoto at Zen Facial in Sydney has the most beautiful treatment room overlooking the water at Bronte Beach. You literally walk out of her place feeling and looking fresh and well rested, like you've slept for two weeks."

Central Ontario, Canada

"All year long, I dream of spending time at the lake in Central Ontario with my family. I love being in nature—unplugged and connected as a family. A sauna on the dock, followed by a swim in the fresh lake water—and then cocktails at sunset!—feels like heaven."

GEORGINA GRAHAM, makeup artist

Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa in New York City

"All facials are advised by superstar dermatologist Doris Day (yes, that is her real name!), and I suggest the Power Hour treatment where you get a combo of any three treatments such as a facial, nails, and blow-dry. I like the customer service and professional and fast attitude."

KRISTIE STREICHER, makeup and brow artist

El Nido Resorts in the Philippines

"I've never seen beaches like the ones in the Philippines. The water is not only the perfect temperature—86 degrees—but so clear that you can see the amazing marine life perfectly just from stand-up paddleboarding, which you can do from island to island as they're very close to one another. We stayed in two different, eco-friendly resorts owned by the same company, El Nido Resorts. The photos online do not do this place justice. The resorts are nestled up right against the jungle on the beach. You see monkeys and all sorts of tropical birds as you walk to your cottage. The people are gracious and lovely, and the food was fresh and locally sourced. We stayed in water cottages at the first resort [Lagen Island] and the beach cottages on the sands of your own private beach of the other [Pangulasian Island]. The travel is not fun—it took us almost 30 hours from Los Angeles—but totally worth it."

Shamara Bondaroff's pop-up in East Hampton

"Shamara is permanently based in Union Square, but from August 1 to 15, she will be setting up shop in East Hampton in a beautiful cottage. I love her treatments because they're focused on holistic anti-aging using microcurrents so you come out baby-faced. I see a noticeable difference in the tightness of my skin, particularly on my jawline and around my eyes. She's also hilarious."

Can Domo Hotel in Ibiza

"I go to Ibiza as much as I can, and the hotel I love is Can Domo. It's low-key and peaceful, but the quality is great—it's beautiful. There, the owner of the hotel introduced me to a Iyengar yoga teacher who is genius, and her husband is an extraordinary chef who used to work at the best restaurants but decided to stay home with the family and open his own restaurant there. The food is so good and so fresh."
